Foot & Ankle Focus is a series of live, online events that offer a deep dive into a single clinical or practice management topic. Events are free to AOFAS members, medical students, and orthopaedic residents and fellows! All other nonmembers may participate for $59.

In this combined webinar with POSNA, expert faculty will discuss the evaluation and management of cavovarus foot deformity and Charcot-Marie-Tooth, including differences in diagnostic and treatment algorithms utilized for adult and pediatric cases.

  • Understand differences in surgical planning for adult and pediatric CMT cases

  • Describe differences in thinking from adult and pediatric specialists for treatment of CMT

  • Describe different approaches for soft tissue release between adults and pediatrics

 

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AOFAS designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirements of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery's Maintenance of Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABOS credit.

Registration for all AOFAS webinars is FREE for AOFAS members, medical students, and orthopaedic residents and fellows. All other nonmembers may participate for $59. Nonmember students, residents, and fellows must email program verification (institution name and year in training) to [email protected] prior to registering.

Webinar login details will be sent via email prior to live broadcast. CME credits will be provided upon completion and submission of online evaluation following full viewing.
