Founded in 2001, the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that advances the AOFAS mission by funding and promoting essential education, research, and humanitarian endeavors. With the help of generous donations from individuals
and industry partners, the Foundation has grown into a thriving organization that provides resources to improve patient care and ensure the specialty's future success.
What We've Done
Contributed more than $1.2 million since 2001 to building the future of foot and ankle care through the Research Grants Program
Launched OFAR, the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Outcomes Research Network, a groundbreaking registry that collects nationwide
patient-reported outcomes data on foot and ankle treatments
Developed the Visiting Professor, Resident Scholarship, Traveling Fellowship, Women's Leadership, and other programs that enhance orthopaedic education, foster professional collaboration, and encourage early interest in the specialty
Delivered humanitarian care to more than 3,500 patients in underserved areas of Vietnam through Overseas Outreach
