Pamela C. Luk, MD, Joins AOFAS® Board of Directors

Los Angeles Orthopaedic Surgeon to Serve Leading Foot and Ankle Society

Rosemont, Ill. (September 22, 2022) – Foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon Pamela C. Luk, MD, has joined the Board of Directors of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society® (AOFAS), the leading organization for lower extremity medicine and foot and ankle surgery, as a member-at-large.

“I am greatly appreciative of this honor to serve on the AOFAS Board of Directors,” said Dr. Luk. “I'm excited to be working with my well-respected colleagues to fulfill our organization's mission and initiatives for the betterment of our membership and our patients.”

Dr. Luk is a foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon at Select Orthopedic Specialists in Los Angeles, California. She is a graduate of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and completed her residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Hospital. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  

Most recently, Dr. Luk served as chair for the AOFAS Women’s Leadership Initiative, which recognizes and encourages women in foot and ankle orthopaedics. In addition, she is a previous chair of the AOFAS Young Physicians Committee and member of the Program Committee
