After a two-year delay due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the 2022 IFFAS Scientific Meeting took place April 28-30 in Santiago, Chile. The meeting was hosted by the Latin American Federation of Medicine and Surgery of the Foot and Leg (FLAMeCiPP).

Attendees enjoyed the scientific and collegial exchange and beautiful location, and awards were presented to the Best Clinical Paper and Best Research Paper.

During the meeting, Dr. Cristian Ortiz handed over the IFFAS presidency to Dr. Jin Woo Lee of the Korean Foot and Ankle Society (KFAS).
