AOFAS is committed to providing education and guidance for the next generation of foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeons. Browse the resources below for orthopaedic residents, fellows, and training programs.
Open to PGY-1, PGY- 2 and PGY-3 orthopaedic residents in US and Canadian programs, AOFAS Resident Scholarships offer an incredible opportunity to attend the AOFAS Annual Meeting, explore the foot and ankle field, and network with experienced foot and
ankle surgeons.
The Visiting Professor Program brings leaders in foot and ankle orthopaedic surgery to residency programs with no or limited full-time foot and ankle faculty. Selected programs receive a full-day visit from a prominent AOFAS-member surgeon who participates
in clinics, lectures, and/or grand rounds. Virtual visits are available for 2021!
Designed for residents, program directors, and educators, AOFAS lectures, podcasts, and recordings feature essential foot and ankle information developed and presented by experts in the field. Most resources are available on demand, at no cost to residents
and AOFAS members.
This monthly case conference series provides an opportunity for Fellows across the US to see how other institutions treat interesting and difficult cases, while also fostering community among fellowship classes.
The AOFAS-sponsored Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Fellowship Match is a transparent, unbiased process that matches applicants to foot and ankle fellowship programs on a competitive basis. AOFAS offers resources for applicants and programs to guide you through the Match process.
