There are many instances in which surgeons can work with allied health to address patient issues with nonsurgical alternatives. This webinar, presented in partnership with the Foot and Ankle Special Interest Group of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA FASIG), will discuss how foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeons and allied health practitioners can collaborate in the management of shared patients with flatfoot deformity.


At the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the biomechanics of the hindfoot and midfoot in flatfoot

  • Analyze the bracing options for posterior tibialis tendon dysfunction (PTTD)

  • Utilize intrinsic foot strengthening for the treatment of PTTD
