Journal CME

Did you know that you can earn CME credit and fulfill the ABOS Self-Assessment Exam (SAE) requirement with the Foot & Ankle International CME Self-Assessment Exam?

Each exam includes 100 multiple-choice questions inspired by, and linking to, FAI articles from the most recent volume years. You have the option to complete the exams on multiple devices over time and have an unlimited number of retakes to pass.

The 2021-2024 FAI CME Self-Assessment Exam bundle includes four years of exams and offers up to 40.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Exams can also be purchased individually (up to 10 credits each). After passing the exam(s), you can apply the credits to fulfill the ABOS Maintenance of Certification (MOC) scored and recorded SAE requirement.

Open to AOFAS members and individual FAI subscribers.

Please note that FAI CME Exams have moved to the AOFAS OnDemand Education Center (ONE). Any previously earned CME hours are recorded and available through AOFAS, but in-process exams are no longer accessible

CME hours are earned when the participant earns a passing score (70% or above) and completes the evaluation survey. Physicians who earn the full 10 hours per exam may apply the credits toward the ABOS MOC scored and recorded Self-Assessment Examination requirement.

FAI/FAO Reviewer CME

As a reviewer for Foot & Ankle International and Foot & Ankle Orthopaedics, you earn CME for successfully completing journal reviews.

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society designates this manuscript review activity for a maximum of 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (per journal article). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
