Nasef Mohamed Nasef Abdelatif, MD

Nasef Mohamed Nasef, MD, is Professor of Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at Cairo University. He specializes in orthopaedic reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries, sports injuries, and joint deformity correction. Dr. Nasef's special field of interest is orthopaedic sports-related injuries and their treatment using sophisticated advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques with the aim of restoring damaged articular surfaces, bones, ligaments, and tendons back to their normal status. Another field of interest and practice is the use of minimally invasive techniques to correct a whole spectrum of foot and ankle pathologies.

 

Eric Giza, MD

Eric Giza, MD, is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Chief of the UC Davis Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Service, and Co-Director of the UCD/Reno Orthopaedics Foot & Ankle Fellowship. He specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopy and complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle. Dr. Giza is a former collegiate soccer player and has served as an assistant team physician for the United States Soccer Federation. Currently, he serves as an official team physician for the Sacramento Republic FC professional men's soccer team. Dr. Giza’s research interests include cartilage transplantation, arthroscopic approaches to lateral ligament stabilization, and Achilles tendon repair.

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The AOFAS designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirements of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery’s Maintenance of Certification program.
