AOFAS Specialty Day 2019

Submit your abstract for Specialty Day 2020!

AOFAS President-Elect William C. McGarvey, MD, and 2020 Program Chair Scott J. Ellis, MD, invite you to submit an abstract for paper presentation at AOFAS Specialty Day 2020 in Orlando, Florida.

Abstracts must be submitted by 2:59 pm Central Time on Thursday, July 24, 2019. Notifications will be sent via email in September 2019.

Abstract Requirements

  • All co-authors are required to have an active disclosure on file with AOFAS. Instructions will be provided via email to each co-author.

  • Abstracts are limited to 500 words total (excluding the abstract title and authors)

    • Introduction/Purpose – Suggested 125 words

    • Methods – Suggested 150 words

    • Results – Suggested 125 words

    • Conclusion – Suggested 100 words

  • A single file, figure, or table, may be uploaded for each submission (jpg, png, jpeg file, up to 3MB).

  • Submissions must be blinded. Avoid using author or institution names.

  • Use generic drug and/or device names wherever possible.

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit

Specialty Day Recordings
Recorded presentations from AOFAS Specialty Day 2019 are now available on the AOFAS Physician Resource Center! Log in with your AOFAS member account to watch talks from the symposia, scientific paper sessions, and the combined session with the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. Non-AOFAS members who attended Specialty Day will need to log in or create an account to access.

If you submitted CME at the meeting or through the AOFAS Meetings mobile app, your certificate is ready to print from your profile (login required). If you do not have an AOFAS account, please use your email address (provided to AAOS for registration) and the password AOFAS2019 to log in.
