Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

• Compare and contrast approaches for treating routine and complex foot and ankle deformities and conditions

• Understand and contrast extensile and minimally invasive surgical solutions

• Describe patient selection and treatment strategies for revision procedures

• Outline the ways to identify and manage complications

• Determine and apply strategies to improve patient outcomes
  

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AOFAS designates the live activity for a maximum of  12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and the enduring materials for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Certified Athletic Trainers. This live program is eligible for a maximum of 12.0 hours/CEUs and enduring materials are eligible for a maximum of 2.5 hours/CEUs.
