The AOFAS Advanced Foot and Ankle Virtual Course is back this year with new strategies to tackle your toughest cases.

This comprehensive, case-based course ​offers solutions to the most complex and challenging problems that foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeons encounter. Faculty will present the newest advancements and emerging technologies in surgical and non-surgical treatment.

 


The course will be held online over three days:

  • Thursday, May 11: 4:00 – 7:00 pm Central Daylight Time (UTC-5)

  • Friday, May 12: 4:00 – 7:00 pm Central Daylight Time (UTC-5)

  • Saturday, May 13: 9:00 am – 2:15 pm Central Daylight Time (UTC-5)

All recordings from the Live Program will be posted after the program ends each day. Your registration includes access to all 11.25 hours of recordings, plus four 5-minute on-demand sessions as a bonus! On-demand sessions will be available when the course begins on May 11.


Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Compare and contrast approaches for treating routine and complex foot and ankle deformities and conditions

  • Understand and contrast extensile and minimally invasive surgical solutions

  • Describe patient selection and treatment strategies for revision procedures

  • Outline the ways to identify and manage complications

  • Determine and apply strategies to improve patient outcomes


The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AOFAS designates the live activity for a maximum of  11.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and the enduring materials for a maximum of .25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
