The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. AOFAS designates the live Pre-Meeting Course for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and the blended Scientific Session (live activity and enduring materials), for a maximum of 22.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Participants are required to submit a completed evaluation form at the end of the course in order to receive CME credit.

In-person attendees may claim up to 22.5 continuing education credits total for the Scientific Session (Thursday-Saturday program): 17.5 credits are available in person and can be claimed as a live activity, and an additional 5.0 credits are available on-demand only and claimed as an enduring activity. Credits can be claimed within the same form, upon completion of all educational programming (live and enduring).

Dr. Echols is a board-certified avian veterinary specialist who has focused his career on developing new technology to aid in the practice of medicine and surgery – for all species.
