Celebrating 17 Years of Education and Service in Vietnam (2002-2018)

The 2018 Vietnam Project took place May 19 through June 15, 2018. The volunteers were: Mario Kuhn Adames, MD, of Florianopolis, Brazil; Nathan Bruck, MD, of Givatayim, Israel; Raman K. Dega, MBBS, of Wexham, United Kingdom; Sandra A. Eisele, MD, MBA, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Jessica A. Faught, MD, MS, of Portland, Maine; Justin M. Kane, MD, of Dallas, Texas; Kathleen A. McHale, MD, of Alexandria, Virginia; and Naomi N. Shields, MD, of Wichita, Kansas.

Since the first project in 2002, AOFAS volunteers have performed surgery on more than 1,500 patients and evaluated more than 3,500 patients in clinics, all at no charge to the patients. A total of 60 AOFAS members from around the world have participated in the project.

Thank you to Stryker for their support of the 2018 Overseas Outreach Project to Vietnam!
