Learning Objectives
Program goals are to facilitate higher levels of physician competencies, improve health care delivery and subsequent outcomes of patient care, promote the highest level of patient safety and further advance the specialty of orthopaedic surgery of the foot and ankle.  
 

Upon completion of this program, the participant should be able to:​

·        Understand what are the things that make it attractive for a plaintiff lawyer to bring a suit against a surgeon

·         Appreciate the role of medical records in lawsuits

·         Understand what makes a case defensible

·         Understand how to respond when you are getting sued

·         Recognize the significance of the National Practitioner Databank​
