Program goals are to facilitate higher levels of physician competencies, improve health care delivery and subsequent outcomes of patient care, promote the highest level of patient safety and further advance the specialty of orthopaedic surgery of the foot and ankle.
Upon completion of this program, the participant should be able to:
Describe the treatment options for deformities of the foot and ankle;
Outline the treatment options for arthritis of the foot and ankle;
Describe the diagnosis and treatment options for sports injuries of the foot and ankle;
Outline the diagnosis and treatment options for trauma of the foot and ankle;
Identify knowledge gaps in understanding foot and ankle conditions and their treatment.
